My name is James Weick Jr. I have been an attorney for 13 years. I was a prosecutor for 12 years and recently opened up this firm.

I graduated from John Carroll University with a BA degree in Political Science and a minor in Business Logistics. I received my law degree from Ohio Northern University, and immediately began working in the local prosecutor's office.

I was the youngest attorney to ever head the misdemeanor unit at the office. I prosecuted DUI's, Domestic Violence and Theft cases. I also supervised the 5 other prosecutors in the unit.

I began working in the felony unit after three years. I handled every felony imaginable including a death penalty case.

I moved to Florida in 1997 and worked at the Broward State's Attorney Office until October 2004. In those 6 1/2 years I was a felony lead prosecutor and handled cases ranging from DUI, to 2nd degree murder. I worked in the Sex crimes special unit handling rape and child abuse cases for 4 years.

I have tried over 250 jury trials. I am currently licensed in Ohio and Florida.
